Sunset Coffee is uniquely located on the upper east side of Sandy, Utah overlooking the entire Salt Lake Valley.
You can see the fireworks displays from many of the venues from our large outdoor patio all at the same time without fighting with the headaches of traffic and dealing with the large crowds.
We will be serving pork sliders, our unique and fabulous specialty drinks and of course coffee. Party starts at 1:00 PM and will go until the party is over for your enjoyment and convenience.
We will also have fireworks displays for the kids later in the evening.
Sunset Coffee is located at:
7978 South 1300 East

With Much Appreciation,
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our friend Mary Rickell Weidner. Sunset Coffee Company would like to invite all of you who knew her to a celebration of her life here at Sunset Coffee on Sunday January 25th at 3:00 pm. Please inform those you know that may not have heard about Rickell’s sudden and untimely passing about our gathering.
Please visit Rickell’s Facebook to leave condolences and share your thoughts.
Mary Rickell Weidner 1980-2015:
Our dear beautiful angel daughter, Rickell, departed this earth on January 17th after a valiant fight against MRSA and pneumonia. She continues to be a charming and delightful lady who is now sharing her keen insight and joy with those beyond this world.
She loved life! Despite the incredible pain she suffered, so much of her life was a joy and incredible strength to us all. Now she is free to skip, run and soar through the heavens with uninhibited happiness. Rickell was a talented artist and loved many things including: chocolate, Thai food, coffee, baking desserts, shiny rocks, crystals, sandcastles, the beach, seashells, action movies, art shows, jewelry, angels, photography, cloud formations, sunsets, purple and silver, flowers, San Francisco, incense, parties, music and giving back to those she loved. Above all else, she loved to laugh; and share her time and love with her family and friends. Rickell loved Jesus. She showed us how to follow him by her example. We loved her dearly. Rickell will be desperately missed by her family and friends.
We want to thank the University of Utah Health Care Center Burn Unit staff for the wonderful care they gave to Rickell while she was there. Their loving professional care was extraordinary and greatly appreciated. We also want to thank the counselors and other professionals who helped her face the difficult challenges of life. We would to like to thank the owners and patrons of the Sunset Coffee Shop in Sandy for the love and care they always shared with her.
Rickell is survived by her loving parents, Fred and Gladell Weidner, her brothers and their wives, “Mikey” (Michael) and Melissa, Matthew and Kristen and their daughter Elliotte.
There will be a viewing Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 South Highland Drive. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at the South Jordan 3rd Ward, 9750 South, 2200 West, South Jordan. There will also be a viewing from 9:45 am to 10:45 am before the services.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, to help with the funeral services can be made at any Wells Fargo to the “Rickell Weidner Memorial Fund”.
