Loving daughter, sister, aunt cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2013, at the young age of 21. She had many passions in life, the biggest being her pets. She had three cats, a dog, and a hedgehog. Caring for them was one of her greatest joys. In her younger years,
Shelbie enjoyed spending summers with her grandparents in New Harmony. She loved her niece, Myka, as if she was her own, and the special bond that they shared will never be forgotten.
Shelbie is loved not only by her family, but by her friends at City Academy as well. During her time as a student there, she helped to maintain the gardens. She also worked with her mother in the yard at home.
Shelbie had the biggest and kindest heart and would do anything for her family and friends, without question. She never hesitated to give what was her to the ones that she loved. Shelbie is a bright spot in everyone’s lives and is dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving parents Tim and Alta Nicholes, He sibling Cody (Calli) Jenkins, Brittany Nicholes and T.j. Nicholes, her niece Myka Jade Nicholes, her grandparents Don and Ellen Skabelund and Grandma Boots, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at Hillcrest 9th Ward: 915 Peach Blossom Drive (9270 South) Sandy, Utah at 11:00 a.m.
Friends and Family may call Sunday evening at the Holladay-Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary: 4670 S Highland Drive from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (And one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church.)
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shelbie Louise Nicholes Estate at U.S. Bank.
Farewell friend, you will surely be missed.
